Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream

Saved my skin this winter. Absolutely loving it. It is heavy and feels thick, but after 5 min my thirsty skin absorbing it pretty well and has a beautiful glow.

I was dealing with highly irritated skin possibly form over exfoliating. It was inflamed red burning and all over the centre of my face. I had been trying to use various things to soothe it and bring it back to normal but what finally worked was a combination of cera ve moisturizer at night and then using the Weleda skin food as a overnight mask on top of the moisturizer to seal in the moisture. I had bought the ski food because of hearing about it as a go to and I didn’t want to put allot of chemicals on my face that was already irritated. There was a scent to the product and I was worried it would further irritate my skin but it didn’t. It was greasy feeling and left a cast which is why I liked it overnight. I ended using it during the daytime as well(mask helped hide the residue).

This product is super moisturizing! My skin was flaking off from my face and nothing was working, but this did the trick in a mater of hours. I’ve been using it everyday ever since. If you are at home, you can just smear it all over you face and let it do it’s work. It’s not something you can necessarily wear out of the house because it is very shiny, but you can mix it with a less intense moisturizer and it will keep you hydrated. I usually just put a tone on at night and it’s absorbed by the time I wake up. A little goes a long way as well, and the smell is very pleasant. I will say it’s very thick and rich though, so some people might not like that consistency, but it’s easier to apply once it’s heated by you hands. Also, apparently Rihanna uses this, and I trust her 😂.

Decided to try this based on a celebrity recommendation and i must say, i really like it. I mix it with morning moisturizer and before make-up and i really like the way it makes my skin feel. Holds my makeup on well!
